ST. LOUIS (KMOX) – St. Louis Rams owner Stan Kroenke might have a ‘Plan B’ to take the Rams to San Diego or Oakland if he isn’t allowed to go to Los Angeles.
Post-Dispatch reporter David Hunn joined “KMOX Sports on a Sunday Morning” host Mike Kelly to discuss a letter Commissioner Roger Goodell sent to owners.
Hunn says the commissioner deemed proposals by St. Louis, San Diego and Oakland to keep their teams “inadequate.”
“Goodell seems to have used kind of the Rams’ logic and the Rams report in his response to the owners,” Hunn says. “And that did surprise me a little. I guess I expected the league to have more of a league investigation or a league analysis.”
Hunn says his gut feeling is that if Stan Kroenke isn’t allowed to move the Rams to suburban Los Angeles, he’ll turn his focus to San Diego or Oakland as a possible destination.
